Obama and Immigration

President Obama now faces a real problem, one of immigration and laws on illegal aliens living in this country. Sure, Mexico is melting down, and no doubt there are tens of thousands of illegal immigrants living in the US. And to be sure we will have do deal with them soon. All that's true, but that's not his problem. His problem is a little closer to home, its his aunt, Zeituni Onyango.

It seems Onyango came to the US illegally in 2000, she applied for asylum in 2004 and was denied, she was then ordered by a federal judge to leave the country, which she promptly refused to do. Whats makes this even better is that she was and is living in "public" housing in Boston. There were also reports at one point she was in public housing in Detroit as well. This begs the question: Do we, the United States, provide public housing for illegal immigrants ? And if we are/do, why ? The government is broke how can we pay for it ? Forget that, this woman was ordered out by a federal judge, but did not leave. Now she is getting another chance to apply for asylum, a chance which is also most never given to anyone else. We all know why, but that doesn't make it right.

To be sure, Obama is steering clear of this, his aunt, 56, is the half sister of his Kenyan father. Obama states he was unaware she was living in the US illegally. Is that true, who knows, I don't. What I do know is that she should be in a federal prison awaiting deportation, not living in public housing. This woman is not only here illegally, she is in direct violation of a federal court order. If we can't even kick out this woman, how are we going to control people here illegally who intend to do us harm. You know, terrorists, maybe they came here as students and kind of never went home. If we can't even keep illegal aliens out of public funded housing, how bad off are we when it comes to real homeland security ? Those are the true questions. Where is Obama on this, lets start with closing GITMO, and then releasing inmates into the United States, and giving them money to live. Look at his approach to the border with Mexico, lets not send the National Guard, that might actually shut down the border, lets blame America for drug usage and arming the drug gangs south of the border, now that's a plan.

Look, Obama is supposed to be the President of the United States, he swore an oath to this country and its constitution, including immigration laws. Even if those laws affect his long lost family members as in this case.

GITMO Terrorist's Get Welfare!

On Friday, the Director of National Intelligence, testified to a Congressional panel that in order to get GITMO emptied out, we will have several detainees that have no where to go. Their home countries don't want them, for that matter nobody wants them, imagine that. So this genius , who no doubt has the complete confidence of the president, goes on to tell the "lawmakers" that we will most likely have to release some of these detainees into the United States, since they have no means of income the government will have to provide money and housing assistance to them for an unknown amount of time. Notice I said, released, that means not in prison, that means living next to you.

At this point I don't know what else to say. No one would believe this if it was not happening. The people he is talking about were picked up on the battlefield, fighting US troops, they have been trained to commit acts of terrorism, hold on, that's now called a man made incident, nobody would ever believe this story. Liberals no doubt would say its a "vast right wing conspiracy", people from other countries would laugh at you for coming up with such a outlandish story. If you woke up from a comma after 40 years, you would take sleeping pills and go back into the comma. This is nuts! People who were dedicated to killing Americans, me and you and your friends and your family, now the administration wants to let them out in the country, you know the country where they want to kill everybody, the infidels that's us. But that's not good enough no, since they have no money, no job skills(bomb making doesn't count) we need to give them government support. Who knows maybe we can send them to college, chemistry would be a good subject for them to study.

This is insane, called your elected officials, send them letters, do what ever you can to try to stop this. If there is a chance it can be stopped, we need to try. Remember this is the administration that wants your guns, the guns you believe you may need to protect yourself or family. So why would this be such a stretch, a few terrorists here and there, no big deal! If your a liberal and your enlightened, you no doubt understand all this, I guess I'M still living in the dark.

Ammo, The New Dollar Bill

A few days ago, I was talking about people buying weapons or ammunition, which ever might be the case. A friend of mine asked how do I store all this ammo if I buy it, stating he did not want to invest a lot of money into it if it just goes bad. He had a good point. Then he started in on how much ammo to buy in the first place. again a good point, money is tight and no one wants to waste it, but they are also afraid of not being able to get certain weapons or calibers of ammo should they need it in the future.

I have several good friends who run gun shops, right now they are doing everything they can just to keep up, they can't get enough guns or ammo, of any kind, but certain types and calibers are running out faster than others. For example, any type of AK-47/74 rifle is just about impossible to get. Also AR-15's in any form from any manufacturer are very scarce. In pistols just about any Glock, regardless of caliber is hard to find on the wholesale level. Further, Sig's, H&K and Beretta's are hot items. Well what does that tell you ? First if you have one of these items, good for you, if you want one be prepared to get on a list and wait or pay above retail for one. Here's the other problem, ammo to feed these weapons has now become scarce, with prices climbing like crazy. And yes, there really is a shortage of ammo. Its being caused by people buying large amounts at one time, as well as all of the new gun owners getting into the market in a very short period of time. One last cause you can't overlook are people who would normally just buy a box or two, now buying by the case.

So now what, and what does it mean to you? If you have made an investment in ammo, you don't want to loose it, if your buying by the case, you probably won't shoot it all at once and with the prices the way they are you have spent a lot of money and don't want it to go to waste. First things first, keep the ammo cool and dry and you'll be good to go. Sounds easy but many people don't really know how to do this. If you bought ammo by the case, get it out of the cardboard case it came in, not the individual boxes, the outer case. This is very bad for long term storage because the case itself will attract whatever moisture in the air it can find. Now granted if you live in a dry climate, this may not be as much a concern as say living along the coast or anywhere you have high humidity rates. Try to keep the ammo at 60 degrees or so, a little higher or lower either way won't hurt it much. Try to avoid large temp swings, an example would be 95 or 100 during the day, dropping down to 35 or 40 at night. While it does not mean the ammo won't fire because it should, it does mean the over a period of time it will affect its storage life. If you can, find some military ammo cans, these things are great for storage, if not look for solid plastic tubs or containers, they will work great as well, just remember they won't take the abuse metal cans will. If you really want long term storage people bury caches and use various methods, one which is kind of new is using vacuum food machines, sealing the ammo in the bags just like meat, now I'm sure that will last long time. Another is using oxygen absorbers to further extend storage times. Simply get one of the 5 gal buckets you see at Home Depot or Lowe's, fill it approximately an inch or so from the top with your ammo, right before you seal the lid, toss in half a dozen or so O2 absorbers, then quickly seal the lid using a rubber mallet or something similar. As the absorbers work, you can look back at your bucket an hour or so later and if done properly, you'll be able to see the lid pulled down in the middle a little, which is a sign you have a good vacuum seal. Keep those buckets in a stable temp and that ammo could outlast you.

The other point here is don't be afraid to buy ammo, if stored properly, it can last decades, at least 2 or 3. Keep in mind when deciding to buy right now, it probably won't be getting and cheaper anytime soon(Thank you Mr.Obama), and it may become even harder to find in the future. If you see what you need and you have the money to get it my advice is that you should. It won't go bad and it may become more valuable than money soon.

Civil War ?

Today if you turn on any conservative talk radio show, and at some point within a few shows the topic of civil war or revolution will no doubt come up. That alone should tell people something, something bad. Most if not all the host's of these shows tell people to protest peacefully and make their positions know to the government. The problem is that people are doing that and it seems to them like no one is listening. What comes next ? How long do people go on trying to get someone to listen and take their opinions seriously, I don't know.

What I do know is that people all over this country are hurting, sometimes loosing everything they have. Once people start to think they have nothing to loose, they don't care about the outcome of events they start in motion. Look at it this way, the secret service knows that any one willing to trade their live for their intended targets life, is almost unstoppable and the most dangerous type of person they will ever face. People who at no fault of their own, are loosing their homes, jobs, retirement plans and so on, when they get to the bottom, now what ?
They protest, no one listens, they send letters, make calls and walk in marches, but nothing happens. The news media won't even cover their protests. People aren't stupid, they know the mainstream media is in the pocket of liberals. They are seeing our constitution getting shredded one day at a time. They see the government reaching into the life's of their families with national health care, school text books that are not reflective of the truth or have a liberal bias. They see huge amounts of tax payer money being pumped into companies that the government now basically own. Now the government wants power to tell any company how to spend their money or how much they can pay their employees. Don't forget, large looming tax increases to cover all this spending, taxes on them to pay for someones screw ups they don't even know. How long will people stay calm.

By almost every ones estimate, the unemployment rate will increase to at least 10% this year. Since that will be several million more people loosing their jobs, its only going to get worse. You can see by the plans the government is working on, they fear this coming to pass. If the government starts on gun control in a big way, or starts pushing through laws to curb free speech, it could get real ugly real fast. The problem is that this administration doesn't care. When Obama said people in Pennsylvania were "clinging to their guns and religion", he meant it . That was just a slip of the tongue, that's all. Gun sales are soaring, you can't even buy a bullet, survivalist web sites are the hottest thing out there, food storage and preparedness are all the rage, why? Its simple, people are scared.

Remember, the first time is always the hardest. If a march turns violent, more will follow. If someone shoots a politician, there will be more. If people see the government trying to arrest someone or a group of someones they feel are being unjustly targeted, will they go to their aid, and if they do, know now, they will do it again. Unless the government gets with the program and changes its approach, which I doubt they will, this could get ugly, very ugly. Is it a civil war, I don't know, but I believe we are closer to it now than we have been in well over 125 years.

Gets Your Guns Now, While You Can !

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Mexico now, as she stated to the media the violence in Mexico is in part, our fault. She stated the US has a large appetite for illegal drugs, which is why they come into the country in the first place. She also stated that 90% of the guns used in violent crime in Mexico are coming from the US. The first is obvious, the second is an outright lie. The purpose behind her statements is to set up new legislation in the US, not Mexico. Now what kind of new legislation could she want? Put into play, the fact the Eric Holder, the new Attorney General, who a couple weeks ago repeated the same line, at the same time saying Obama wanted to reconstitute the Clinton era "assault weapons ban", remember, Holder was one of the architects of the original ban. By the way, Holder is also going to Mexico next month. Now never fear, because the White House just announced the Bamster himself, is also going to Mexico next month. That's the whole dam government, going to Mexico, and what is the one thing they all have in common ? GUNS ! All three of them are rabid anti-gunners.

This is just the setup for the obvious, they will come back, probably set up a study group, (Obama likes those)and they will come out of the study group saying we need to stabilize Mexico, and part of doing that is to stop the illegal gun trafficking going south across the border. They will list all the reasons we need to help Mexico, most of which will probably be true. Then they hit the public with gun control bills under the guise of cutting crime here and in Mexico. Clinton, sold the first assault weapons ban in the Crime Control Bill, remember the 100,000 new police officers on the street line, they know they can't get the legislation through on its on, so they will hide it in something else, something popular, or at least that's what they think.

People need to understand, with Obama you need to carefully look over every word that comes out of his mouth, he is great at shuffle games and misdirections. This is on, the setup is there to see, he will come to the public through others, congress, the Attorney General, various anti-gun groups will start sponsoring ads, and the media will highlight any incidents involving shootings or violent crime, here or abroad. Get the public scared, attempt to split gun owners on the issue, and then push through restrictive gun control measures. Its a simple plan, it could very well work, and he's sure as hell going to do it. Now the question is, are the American people ready to fight this kind of scare tactic crap. They use it for everything, lets get the "Stimulus Bill" now, lets get my "Budget" now, don't forget the "Omnibus Spending Bill", they needed they immediately too.Don't worry, you'll have your guns, no bullets, hundreds per year in taxes, complete registration, permits when you move, limits on how you can use or sell them, but other than that don't worry.

People need to look into their respective finances, if they permit, buy a gun, if you have one, buy another one. If you have weapons, fine. Buy ammunition. Support groups like the NRA and others, vote for pro-gun candidates, this needs to become a priority. If they can step on the 2nd amendment, how can you resist if they then start on your rights to free speech, what about the 4th amendment, do you want them searching your homes or jobs. With the technology now available to the government, they can do this without you even knowing. What about states rights, or don't they matter either ? The 2nd amendment is at the top of the constitutional list for a reason, because it guards all the others, it give the people the means to resist if needed, an out of control or oppressive government. That's what it for, not hunting. We can't let them split the gun owners by saying we don't want to stop hunters or target shooters. These people have no idea, they simply want to suppress their opposition to any new laws.

The crisis in Mexico is real to be sure, but using the crisis to push through new gun laws is a red herring. The news media won't cover the "tea" parties, and other protests going on around the country, because they want Obama to succeed no matter what, most of them agree with him on issues like this. Don't look for any help from them, no matter how outrageous the statements made get, they just won't see it. As a matter of fact, they will do everything in their power to help push through such laws. Look how they handled the election coverage. Be aware, your rights are truly in the administrations sights.

Militia Movement Hype

I have received a copy of a Missouri State Highway Patrol report on as they called it "The Modern Militia Movement". This type of report should scare all free people to death. This report is meant to justify attacks on people that the government fears. The report lists several types of people that it believes are most likely to become "militia members".

Some of these included people who support third party political groups such as the Libertarian party, remember Ron Paul, he looks like he's trying to over through the government. They state the "Anticipated economic collapse of the US Government", is an additional motivator to join a militia. Half the reasonable people in this country fear this economy could collapse, no doubt with the federal governments help. They further go on with some people are fearing US military intervention in the US, which is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. Well I think most people remember after hurricane Katrina, school bus Nagan, ordering the police department in New Orleans to confiscate guns from everybody, not just people who were violating the law. People were trying to protect themselves and this nitwit wanted to take away their primary means to do so. The general who commanded the military response on the ground refused to have his troops participate in any such actions. In the end the NRA got a Federal court to step in to stop further confiscations and fought them for two years to get the guns back to their owners. nobody has anything to fear there.

They state "that there is a great deal of anger towards the Federal Reserve System and all forms of tax collections". No shit, what made you think that. These people are truly geniuses, the economy is costing people their jobs, their homes, their cars, their kids college funds, their retirement, almost everybody is being effected. So what does our government do, run up debt we can't pay and proposes huge new taxes to pay for it all. People have no money to begin with, now you want to tax them more, why would anybody be mad about that? What these people know is that this country was founded by people who were oppressed and overtaxed.

This report is not the first one to surface lately, the US Army War college produced a report detailing the anticipated military response to widespread domestic disturbances. They weren't talking about Iraq, it was here in the US. They fear a giant meltdown by the public. When you have a government who is afraid of not being able to gets its agenda through, and agenda that includes bigger government, higher taxes, gun control, restrictions on free speech, national health care, the creation of a "Civilian Defense Force", and other expansions by government into private companies paying their employees and so on, people have a right to be fearful.

If you look at this report, almost anybody could be a militia member. What should bother you is this reports and others, are simply arranging an "enemy's" list and trying to put them into a neat little group or groups with names they believe have negative stigmas attached to them. By doing this, they can attack and marginalize their opposition when the time comes. Americans need to wake up, these people are dangerous to your freedom, all kinds of your freedoms are under assault, NOW!

The End Of The War On Terror

Did you know the war against Islamic Fundamentalist Fanatics is over, they quit. Wow, that was fast, Obama's been in office for only a couple months and everything is fine, now that's progress. No, there is no threat to you or or family, that's all gone, hell even the Iranians love us now, right? Come on the idea of some crazy Muslim exploding a nuke in the US, that's crazy talk, and this whole thing about training camps in this country, now somebody has got to be making that up just to scare people.

Let me explain a couple things, first just because our fearless leader gave his first media interview in office to an Arab news station, doesn't mean he's sucking up does it? Second the fact that he tried, even before he took office, to open a back door via a letter, with the Russians, offering to sell out Poland via the missile defense shield program, that means nothing right? Oh, by the way, the Russian president, slapped him in the face by coming out publicly and refusing his offer, you know, the offer about us not deploying the interceptor missiles if they get the Iranians to stop building nukes. That would be the nukes we don't have to worry about them having in the first place. Third, how about the video tape the president just sent to the Iranians, telling them how much we have in common and how we would like to welcome them into the world community, that way we can all be pals. But, wouldn't you know, they slapped him again, because he looks like a weak bumbler without a clue. Now don't worry, he is not done, just to show the world how much we have changed, he is cutting defense spending by at least 10% next year. But never fear, the Democratic leaders in the congress want even more cuts, we can expect to see more and more of this, that's what everybody voted for right?

Now the great one tells all of his cabinet to no longer use words like "terrorism", instead its now called "a man made incident". Further, we are no longer involved in a global war on terror, no, that's over now, its some kind of "overseas contingency operation". Does anybody have a clue in this administration about anything? Look, everybody perceives Obama to be weak on terrorism, so to deflect that away, he will make terrorism go away. Everybody knows he is weakest in all the polls when viewed as the "Commander in Chief", so don't refer to it, keep that part of his job as low key as possible. Tell all the military personnel in Iraq or Afghanistan they are not in a war. Tell their families and friends this is not a war. Those aren't real bullets or bombs, and those soldiers aren't really getting injured or dieing.

The Clinton administration looked at terrorism as a "law enforcement" issue, we had great luck with that, the first world trade center bombing, the embassy bombings, the USS Cole bombing and what no one ever said, is the planning, training, funding and preparations for 9/11 all occur ed under the Clinton watch. Sure, Bush was in office, for 8 months, how can anybody with a brain believe that the whole operation was completed in seven months. The media can spin all it wants, but the truth is much different. When the twin towers came down, that didn't look like a drug bust or traffic stop to me, go back look at some of the video, it looked like a war zone didn't it? The dead people in the Pentagon were not illegally parked. The people on flight 93 weren't getting stopped for speeding. These people were all victims, killed in an act of war, a war that Osama Bin Laden, declared on us. The fact that we now have a president who wants to talk to the Iranians and make nice is shameful. This country wants to wipe Israel off the map, is no doubt close to having a nuke to do it with, they already have long/medium range missiles to deliver the nuke. They call us the "great satan", sponsor terrorism all over the world, have been directly responsible for American deaths in Iraq, and have given members of the Bin Laden troop, safe haven, including his oldest son. These facts are not in dispute. So lets send them a tape and make nice, sure.

I'm not sure where all this is going, but I have one question for those who voted for Obama, is this really what you voted for, is it really?

2nd Amendment Under Fire

Well its Monday, and it looks like we survived another weekend. I went to a local gun show over the weekend, its one of the larger ones in the area. I got there on Saturday morning after watching lines stretching several hundred yards long when the doors first opened, it amazed me how many people showed up. As I was walking in with a friend of mine, all we saw were people coming out struggling to carry cases of ammo. Now bear in mind, these people were carrying cases, not one or two boxes at a time, these people were after my heart!

Whats different is that now large numbers of people are doing this, not just me anymore. Granted, I spend a lot of time and ammo shooting just for fun, I have several friends that do the same thing. Where its changed is now people are buying ammo in large amounts to store not just use. They have a real fear that ammo will either go away, or be taxed out of reach for most people. Crazy proposed laws about registration for ammo, limits and so on are a making people buy, and can you really blame them? The Obama administration is talking about new bans on certain weapons using the new argument about Mexico having a violent meltdown, and the guns the drug cartels are using are coming from the US. What a crock. How many people believe that a belt fed 50 cal. machine gun is making its way from the local sporting goods store to the Mexican drug gangs? How about Russian made fully auto AK's, there must be bunches of those at Wal-Mart, or Gander Mountain, sorry it must be Bass Pro Shops, right! Its a joke and just another reason that the anti-gunners wish to try to use convince the American public that they need to ban certain weapons.

The real problem is that some people buy into it, some of these people are gun owners. The vast majority of Americans don't know which amendment is for what, let alone understand what they are for and what they mean. Think about this, how many times have you seen various states trying to pass laws or even amendments to their state constitutions guaranteeing hunters rights and the right to go hunting? OK fine, what does that have to do with the 2nd amendment to the United States constitution, how about little to nothing. That amendment was put in place by the founders to help protect the people from an oppressive government, nobody said anything about shooting ducks or deer. When you hear hunters out criticizing other gun owners who have semi-auto rifles or pistols, or voting for obvious anti-gun politicians or laws, can anyone tell me what they thing they are accomplishing, other than helping to hurt fellow gun owners. All kinds of people own all kinds of guns for all kinds of things, hunting is one use, so is self defense, so are the various shooting sports, how about just going out plinking or shooting targets for fun. Now is it OK to shoot with just a revolver, or bolt action rifle, I think not. Also, think about this, when the 2nd amendment was written as I said, it was to protect us from the government, now do you believe that when the founders wrote it that they thought the people could only have bows and arrows, because the most advanced weapon of the day was a muzzle loader? What good would that do, other than get a bunch of people killed.

Look, when gun owners get divided that's what the anti-gun groups really want, because then they can get their laws passed and say its the will of the people. If we stick together, it makes it real hard for them to get anywhere. Remember this, if they take away semi autos, next will be your prized deer rifle or your old pump shotgun your dad gave you. If you believe they only want other people's guns, look how good that's worked around the world throughout history, like Soviet Russia, Cuba, North Korea, Nazi Germany, don't forget today's United Kingdom or Australia. The 2nd Amendment makes the all the others possible. Stand by it, defend it if need be. If we lose it, the other liberties we have will no doubt soon follow. Join the NRA!

The Bailout Meltdown

The bailout meltdown has come home. As you watch the news all you see is congress and the president showing how mad they are about the AIG bonus payouts. The true threats are coming from the reaction to the problem, not the problem. Congress has decided to pass tax laws that will strip the people getting the bonus money of most all of it. This may not even be lawful, but they don't care.

While I believe no one should be getting bonus money since the company they work for, really has no money. The money they are spending is taxpayer money, mine, yours, ours. The first real problem is the government should not be involved in private business, period. The government can not run a company, it can't even run itself well. Now we as the taxpayer have invested billions into companies who are bleeding money every day, this money is lost. What will be left is a huge national debt, that our children will be paying on for decades. Remember that's only if things don't collapse.

The second and probably the bigger issue, is congress is now passing tax law that is most likely unconstitutional, no one seems to care because the Democrats have been able to shift the anger to AIG, not congress or the president, because now they don't have Bush to blame, now its them. The constitution was written with safe guards built in, even though you may be angry with any certain situation, you don't scrap the safe guards to make people feel better, because those safe guards are there to protect all of us, me and you. The issue here is that if the government gets angry at any group for whatever reason, should they be able to tax them out of being. Most everyone would say no, yet people think its OK for AIG, no its not. Finding legal ways to block the money going out is fine, but you can't have the government breaking the law because its mad at any person or group. Remember, what happens when the government decides they don't like your favorite organization, maybe the NRA, or maybe your church or other social group, maybe its just the company you work for, now what ? If people don't stop the actions of an out of control government quickly, they will no doubt increase in size and scope.

The president can go on talk shows, the congress can play any "cya" game they choose, but in the end, we the people will be the ones who suffer for it. The fact that they would trying in the first place shows you what kind of people you are dealing with, watch your back America, and watch out for friends and family, because it looks like no-one else is.

These threats to our liberties can be in the form of oppressive taxes, threats to curb your rights such as the freedom of speech, or your right to own a gun. National security issues like the border crisis, the Russians rearming, the various problems in the middle-east and other hot spots around the world. It could be in the form of the government take-over or buy-outs of large companies.

These threats to our freedoms come in many forms, news media will not report on them because they have a liberal bias that will never change.
