Did Candy Crowley Hand the Election to Romney? Here Comes the NRA in Just Three or Four States

I guess the question is, now that Obama came clean on his gun control wish list, how much of an impact will the NRA have on this election? From what I have read the NRA is getting ready to pump money, people, advertising and energy into what are now being called the "Obama circling the wagons states". The National Rifle Association has long been considered one of the most powerful lobbies in the country, so how did the liberal media hand them a gift on a golden platter? Pretty simple really, make Obama tell you he wants to ban guns.

Now lets be very clear, I am a member of the NRA, I am very pro gun and have always thought Obama was what he appeared to be, a gun banning liberal.Now knowing that Democrats including Obama have avoided the gun control issue, why or better yet how, did the subject come up in the debate? What we heard was Obama saying he favored renewing the assault weapons ban from the Clinton era, as well as possible restrictions on handguns. It appears that Candy Crowley from CNN (who by the way just happened to have the transcript from Obama's Rose Garden speech in hand, when he tried to claim he did call the attack in Libya an act of terrorism) didn't do her home work. Sure, gun control is a big hit with the liberal base but Obama wasn't talking to the liberal base. Poll's have shown for several years now gun control legislation is not very popular with the American public, by something like two to one. So why would you have him come out and take an obvious stand on an issue which you know the public is against?

What they did do was confirm for me and millions more like me, what Obama's true intentions are when it comes to guns. After all he is the one who said he will "have more freedom after the election", at least that's what he told the Russians. The polls have closed and now Obama is down to trying to hold states like Nevada, Iowa and Ohio. Guess what? The president of the NRA made a great point, they can move this election a couple points and now they know just where to go.

So after knowing Bill Clinton paid a very heavy price for playing with the Second Amendment most liberals stay away from gun control issues unless they are in very safe liberal districts, Obama is running in a not so safe district since he is now sliding backwards, fast. Could the NRA really change the outcome of this election? The answer is yes. Think if Romney wins Nevada, Iowa and Ohio. He wins the White House in a landslide. What if he wins those very states by only two or three points? Do you think even then liberals are smart enough to stay away from gun control? I'm betting no.

Women Running Away From Obama? Its About Time! Maybe the Fear Has Worn Off

More and more polls are coming out and they are showing that Obama's once huge leading among women is or has vanished. So what does that really mean and what does it tell us about the race for the White House?

A couple things you won't find in the main stream media like the fact that women are leaving simply because they like the majority of men now see Obama as a failure. The press and liberals concede that without a large overwhelming share of the woman's vote, Obama most likely can't win reelection. So the importance of this shift goes beyond words, it is truly the "game changer". Republicans and Mitt Romney in particular have always had the lead among married women, or for the most part those over 30 or 35. What the GOP did not have was women under say 30, and single mothers. Judging from the results we are now seeing it would be fair to say that Romney has made a serious inroad with this group.

That being said, what has changed? Maybe the idea that they can't find jobs is having an impact. Maybe the idea that their significant others can't find jobs either. Lets try this one, maybe they are starting to understand that the left and Obama is simply playing them with the hole abortion issue. Women care about things, the same things men care about. They care about providing for their loved ones, they care about opportunity for themselves and their children, they even have the odd thought that maybe they want things to be better for their children than they have. Women want their families safe, they want the country safe. The left has been playing on single mothers for the past couple decades and they have been fairly successful at it.

Democrats have gained power in politics by using scare tactics, again for decades. Think about the old people being told they would loose their social security or medicare, remember the cartoon of George Bush pushing an old women down the steps in a wheel chair? What about minorities being told they will loose their rights to vote? Low income people being told they will loose food stamps or welfare payments. Women have been told Romney wants to ban abortion, they are being told Romney wants to cut education funding, they are also being told Romney wants some kind of "global war" and their kids will get drafted. Collage age kids being told Romney wants to restart the draft, just as they did with Bush. Or better yet, Republicans want to stop student loans.  Think about this, what do the liberals including Obama have if they can't claim the GOP will take something away from whomever?Not much right?

Maybe this time around with any luck women in general aren't falling for it. Lets hope so.

Americans Don't Believe the Polls - That According to yet Again, Another Poll.

So answer this. If Romney is loosing so big in every poll, or at least that is what the main stream media tells us, why when you look at polls of likely voters is the race within the margin of error and is normally within one or two points?

Other polls may have the answer? Like a recent poll that showed the American public by something like 60% plus think the media is biased and tinkering with the polls. So how is that? A poll that tells us people think the media is messing with the polls? Talk about irony. I was watching Fox News last night when they showed the results of a poll showing that people have always thought the media was biased but following the chart they showed for the past 20 years or so, it has reached an all time high.

When you look at organizations doing polling like Gallup or Rasmussen Reports who were the two groups that hit the elections in 2004, 2008 and 2010 the closest by the way, you will find that the race is always within a few points, most times one or two points and Obama and Romney have exchanged the lead more than a few times. 

So only in America can you have a situation were the main stream left wing media needs a poll to tell it that people don't believe their polls. The real question is will they listen to the poll or are they just hoping you will? You know that answer don't you?
